Col. Jonathan Chung, commander of the 5th Security Force Assistance Brigade stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord “has been assigned to U.S. Army Pacific pending the outcome of an administrative investigation,” according to a statement from Army Forces Command.
The Army did not clarify a specific reason for the investigation, saying only that Col. Tony Braxton would assume temporary command of the brigade.
Chung is the fifth Army brigade commander to be relieved in recent months.

Can’t help but wonder if this is still part of Obama’s efforts to politicize the military. Too many good officers left under that administration. Seem sensible that he’d continue it since he’s running the current administration. Obviously I don’t know. But because all these officers in very high profile positions being relieved I have to ask, who’s making decisions on brigade and divisional level commanders?
