What did I get wrong SSG John Gillespie about those that present themselves in the picture of him on the cross wrong?

They picture was made by a Cult #45 Fan. I don’t know who made the caption on the meme, but the shoes fit “those” that act in that manner, if it doesn’t apply to people who don’t carry themselves as a #45 Cultist … then they should be secure in who they are.

Those who aren’t extremist
Those who aren’t cultist

Shouldn’t be offended but should be aware of the cult.

* I didn’t create “The Creation of Donald Trump” artwork and put it up for sale … a cult member did, someone that see’s #45 as a “god-like/deity”.

** I didn’t put #45 on the flag … cultist did so.

*** Cult members idol-worship at CPAC in 2021’.

I'd call 2 years of extra-judicial detention a violation of a U.S. citizen's right to due process under the law, as guaranteed by the 7th Amendment, and their right to a speedy and public trial, as guaranteed by the 8th Amendment. Would you agree?

If unlawful and indefinite imprisonment on political grounds is not being targeted by the U.S. Government, then what do you suggest that it is?

It's so laughably blatant that they won't even allow political party opponents to conduct lawful oversight functions and interview their prisoners or inspect their holding conditions. That speaks volumes.

CPL LaForest Gray - "What did I get wrong about those that present themselves in the picture of him on the cross wrong?"
I didn't say that you did. I said that it is incomplete and a red herring.

There are TWO cults out there and one of them is actually in power, is actively working to undermine the foundations of our Republic, and has been for a very long time.

You would not have Trump, nor the cult of personality which has sprung up around him, without the cult in power and the MASSIVE damage which they have been inflicting on our country for decades.

So you can deride the symptoms and start lopping off your parts as they crop up or you can identify the cause of the sickness and work toward curing the infection. Choose wisely, you only have so many parts you can lose before you've slit your throat.

Most people in the USA were : to arrogant, too disinterested, to busy to read and comprehend both the 9/11 Commission Report and/or The PATRIOT ACT

1.) HOW THE USA PATRIOT ACT REDEFINES "DOMESTIC TERRORISM"

Section 802 of the USA PATRIOT Act (Pub. L. No. 107-52) expanded the definition of terrorism to cover ""domestic,"" as opposed to international, terrorism.

A person engages in domestic terrorism if they do an act "dangerous to human life" that is a violation of the criminal laws of a state or the United States, if the act appears to be intended to:  (i) intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination or kidnapping.  Additionally, the acts have to occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States and if they do not, may be regarded as international terrorism.
Section 802 does not create a new crime of domestic terrorism.

However, it does expand the type of conduct that the government can investigate when it is investigating "terrorism."   The USA PATRIOT Act expanded governmental powers to investigate terrorism, and some of these powers are applicable to domestic terrorism.

The definition of domestic terrorism is broad enough to encompass the activities of several prominent activist campaigns and organizations. Greenpeace, Operation Rescue, Vieques Island and WTO protesters and the Environmental Liberation Front have all recently engaged in activities that could subject them to being investigated as engaging in domestic terrorism.

purposes. <<NOTE: Oct. 26, 2001 - [H.R. 3162]>>

3.)
Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism)
Congress enacted the Patriot Act by overwhelming, bipartisan margins, arming law enforcement with new tools to detect and prevent terrorism: The USA Patriot Act was passed nearly unanimously by the Senate 98-1, and 357-66 in the House, with the support of members from across the political spectrum.
The Act Improves Our Counter-Terrorism Efforts in Several Significant Ways:
1. The Patriot Act allows investigators to use the tools that were already available to investigate organized crime and drug traffickin

1a.) Allows law enforcement to use surveillance against more crimes of terror

1b.) Allows federal agents to follow sophisticated terrorists trained to evade detection.

1c.) Allows law enforcement to conduct investigations without tipping off terrorists.

1d.) Allows federal agents to ask a court for an order to obtain business records in national security terrorism cases.

2. The Patriot Act facilitated information sharing and cooperation among government agencies so that they can better "connect the dots."

3. The Patriot Act updated the law to reflect new technologies and new threats.

3a.) Allows law enforcement officials to obtain a search warrant anywhere a terrorist-related activity occurred.

3b.) Allows victims of computer hacking to request law enforcement assistance in monitoring the "trespassers" on their computers.

4. The Patriot Act increased the penalties for those who commit terrorist crimes.

4a.) Prohibits the harboring of terrorists

4b.) Enhanced the inadequate maximum penalties for various crimes likely to be committed by terrorists: including arson, destruction of energy facilities, material support to terrorists and terrorist organizations, and destruction of national-defense materials.

4c.) Enhanced a number of conspiracy penalties, including for arson, killings in federal facilities, attacking communications systems, material support to terrorists, sabotage of nuclear facilities, and interference with flight crew members. Under previous law, many terrorism statutes did not specifically prohibit engaging in conspiracies to commit the underlying offenses. In such cases, the government could only bring prosecutions under the general federal conspiracy provision, which carries a maximum penalty of only five years in prison.

The government's success in preventing another catastrophic attack on the American homeland since September 11, 2001, would have been much more difficult, if not impossible, without the USA Patriot Act. The authorities Congress provided have substantially enhanced our ability to prevent, investigate, and prosecute acts of terror.

USA PATRIOT Act and Domestic Detention Policy

Congress should

● tighten the PATRIOT Act’s requirements for advance judicial approval and judicial review;

● impose a shorter-term sunset clause on all provisions of the PATRIOT Act;

● exclude ordinary criminal activities from coverage of the PATRIOT Act;

●establishrulesthatgoverndetentionofcitizensandnoncitizens suspected of terrorist links; and

● ensure that domestic detainees have access to counsel and judicial review

The Rising Threat of Domestic Terrorism in the U.S. and Federal Efforts to Combat It
Posted on March 02, 2023

Domestic terrorism is on the rise. Several attacks have been widely reported in the last few years. For example, in May 2022, a racially-motivated individual shot and killed 10 people in Buffalo, New York. A 2018 attack on a Pittsburgh synagogue left 11 people dead. All but eight states across the U.S. experienced at least one incident of domestic terrorism between 2010 and 2021. And over the last 10 years, domestic terrorism-related investigations have grown by 357%.

Today’s WatchBlog post looks at our new report on the rising threat of domestic terrorism and federal efforts to combat it.

PolitiFact: Tucker Carlson is wrong. Firearms, other weapons at Capitol on Jan. 6

Samantha PuttermanPolitiFact.com

Tucker Carlson: “Not a single person in the crowd on January 6 was found to be carrying a firearm. Not one.”
PolitiFact's ruling: False

PolitiFact reviewed the case files for hundreds of defendants who were arrested and charged for their actions at the Capitol on Jan. 6 and found several defendants who police say were found to have brought firearms. Some were charged with having firearms on Capitol grounds while others stashed them nearby:

Indiana Man Pleads Guilty to Carrying a Gun and Assaulting Law Enforcement Officers in Jan. 6 Capitol Breach

Firearm Was Loaded with Shotgun Shells and Hollow-Point Bullets

WASHINGTON – An Indiana man pleaded guilty today to carrying a loaded gun on Capitol grounds and assaulting law enforcement officers during the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. His and others’ actions disrupted a joint session of the U.S. Congress convened to ascertain and count the electoral votes related to the presidential election.

Mark Andrew Mazza, 57, of Shelbyville,  Indiana, pleaded guilty in the District of Columbia to assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers with a dangerous weapon and carrying a pistol without a license.

According to court documents, Mazza brought a Taurus revolver, loaded with three shotgun shells and two hollow point bullets, into Washington, D.C., to the Ellipse, and then to the Capitol. Sometime on U.S. Capitol grounds before 2:45 p.m., Mazza lost possession of the revolver. Mazza illegally made his way to the Lower West Terrace and a tunnel area with doors leading into the Capitol Building. He joined in a collective effort of rioters to push through at least 20 officers who were defending the tunnel entrance.

At approximately 3:13 p.m., Mazza moved to the front of the tunnel line, next to the first set of doors. He held open one of the doors, and, as he did so, he allowed other rioters to attack officers with flag poles, batons, sticks and stolen law enforcement shields, and try force their way through the line of officers.  Thereafter, he took control of a baton from an officer’s hand and swung it overhead and downward to strike at officers in the tunnel entrance, hitting one officer in the arm. After striking at the officers with the baton, he continued his efforts to get past law enforcement officers and yelled, “This is our f---- house! We own this house!”

US Capitol riots: Texas man who stormed with gun gets longest prison term

Prosecutors said Guy Reffitt told fellow members of the Texas Three Percenters militia group that he planned to drag House Speaker Nancy Pelosi out of the Capitol building by her ankles, "with her head hitting every step on the way down," according to a court filing.
Reffitt's prison sentence — seven years and three months — is two years more than the previous longest prison sentence for a Capitol riot defendant.

But it's less than half the length of the 15-year prison term requested by a federal prosecutor, who called Reffitt a domestic terrorist and said he wanted to physically remove and replace members of Congress.

Reffitt was the first person to go on trial for the Jan. 6, 2021, attack, in which supporters of then-President Donald Trump halted the joint session of Congress for certifying Joe Biden's 2020 electoral victory.

{"He wanted to physically and literally remove Congress," Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Nestler told the judge. "We do believe that he is a domestic terrorist."}

Tell me again who funds PolitiFact as a corporate entity?

We already know that NBC is basically an arm of the Democratic Party, along with most other mainstream and many other adjacent "news" organizations. It's not really even a secret anymore, unless you live exclusively within that cult.

Why should we accept ANY narrative on ANY subject coming from our Federal government, the Democratic Party (both of those are always in lockstep... really odd in a bipartisan system, isn't it?) and mainstream media sources?

These people have already lost all credibility.

Virginia Man Sentenced For Assaulting Officers During Jan. 6 Capitol Breach

Defendant Was Among Those Who Clashed With Officers on Lower West Terrace

WASHINGTON – A Virginia man was sentenced today in the District of Columbia for assaulting law enforcement officers and other charges for his actions on Jan. 6, 2021. His actions and the actions of others disrupted a joint session of the U.S. Congress convened to ascertain and count the electoral votes related to the presidential election.

Geoffrey William Sills, 31, of Mechanicsville, Virginia, was sentenced to 52 months in prison for obstruction of an official proceeding, assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers with a dangerous weapon and robbery, all felonies.

Sills was found guilty on August 23, 2022, following a bench trial before U.S. District Court Judge Trevor N. McFadden. Sills was indicted with eight other defendants, five of whom have been convicted, and three of whom are awaiting trial. In addition to the prison term, Sills was ordered to pay $2,000 restitution and serve 36 months of supervised release.

According to court documents, on Jan. 6, 2021, Sills illegally entered the Capitol grounds after earlier attending a rally at the Ellipse. He joined in the violence that occurred in the tunnel area of the Capitol’s Lower West Terrace.

From approximately 2:40 p.m., law enforcement officers maintained a line at the second set of glass doors inside the tunnel leading from the inaugural platform to the entrance to the Capitol.

These officers fought a group of rioters -- including the defendants -- inside the tunnel, protecting the doors, until approximately 3:19 p.m. when they cleared them from the tunnel. Clashes continued throughout the afternoon.
