SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL Old school by me was someone who was in the service at least ten years before I joined.
In the classroom: Teachers and even administrators call me old school because of my strict discipline policies and expectations in my classroom. But it goes further than that. I'm the only male teacher in the school who wears a shirt and tie every day. Other males may wear on occasionally but only when they have to. My students would freak out if they saw me without a tie I think!
