One of the ONLY selling points for EVs right now is the cost savings of home charging vs. gas prices. They are already radically more expensive to ourchase, but they say you'll get that money back over the life cycle of the vehicle - and EVENTUALLY even save money - because you are not buying gas. If you eliminate that, why would people buy EVs? Why would I pay MORE for a vehicle that does LESS?

What's that? Mandates? OooOoooooh. Got it. Make things more expensive but ALSO make them mandatory. Got it.
