Hoax alert: tale of homeless vets booted because of immigrants false

A news story blaming White House immigration policies for causing more than 20 homeless veterans to be booted from their temporary shelters is now being denounced as an elaborate hoax, with the New York lawmaker at the center calling it a heartbreaking affront to his work to help veterans.
The fallout of the false report spread much further than the New York suburb where it started. The case drew national attention from conservative outlets and mainstream media, and furthered political fights over whether the federal government is doing too much to help new immigrants and not enough to help struggling veterans.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen most of the media. Journalism integrity is almost non existant today. They are even teaching to fudge or lean an article is ok. And when they are called out they almost never retract or apologize. Right now there are two news factions one left and one right. Before it was about the integrity now it's about how can get the story out first without checking the facts, regardless of the facts.

MAJ Roland McDonald You're right except for the most part. Centrist or barely leaning in either direction factions still have that integrity.
