WASHINGTON — House Republicans are trying to give U.S. Southern Command authority over military relations with Mexico, which currently lies within the jurisdiction of U.S. Northern Command.

Well, that might help with the border crossing issues. But with all the items tacked on, it may never get passed. A huge operation here just ended with the seizure of liquid meth and several pounds of fentanyl
