I never doubted the fighting spirit of the individual South Vietnamese Soldier, but sometimes I have to wonder about their senior leaders. But since I wasn't there, I have to ask what we're your thoughts of them MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. ?

Mostly worthless. Especially the Regional Force and Popular Force troops. We were laagered with E/1st Cav. for payday and resupply when an SF Capt. and MSG came inside the perimeter with an RF company. They started getting into our rucks and ripping off food and ammo. Our CO insisted they return our stuff and their sr. adviser said all he could do was suggest it to their CO. They were immediately expelled from our position.
