That would be a really cool project to be a part of, both as a Submariner and as someone who used to dig stuff up as a career.
Pulling both subs out will be a massive undertaking, but one well worth the cost and effort.
I'll definitely be following this story.

It would be great if it was an intact submarine because they made 58 of these and not one of them is left as a museum. Three conning towers of other subs in its class were saved but it would be great if they could recover the submarine and restore it.
