I’m not a fan of it but many are. I respect them. It doesn’t hurt anyone to show a little respect.

Jim Quit School In The Middle Of 7th Grade To Help Support The Family...
Lied Like Hell & Became A Steam Shove Operator For A Construction Company In DETROIT , Michigan.....We Lived At 18186 Russell ~ 2 1/2 Blocks From 8 Mile Road.
We All Worked For Every Dime; There Are No "Freebies" In Life. Eventually Working Our Way Out Of Poverty.. At One Time, We Had To Rely on The Salvation Army, For Both Clothing And Food. . BUT, We Don't DO That Sh*t No More....Now We Help Them !!
~~~~~~~~~~
OKAY, Now This:
Not Sure, But It May Still Be On The Web:
When Jim Was In The Air Force, In The Mid 50's, & Station In The Zone,
He Decided To Open A TV Repair Business & Hire A Couple Of Locals To
Do The Work... (El Television Americano) Not Much Longer A Gulf Gasoline Station ~ (Paitilla Gulf), About 2 Blocks Away~ Was Available To Be Leased, So He Leased The Station & Installed An Auto-Body Shop....Then A Company Know As "Wynn's Friction Proofing" Asked If He'd Like To Be Their Representative For The Country Of Panama;
So He Added That To His List;... While Bringing In Orders, He Decided To Opens A Small Oil Reclaiming Plant ~ Add One More ... Eventually He Was Also Asked To Help Build The Business For An Insurance Company, And Take Over As The CEO. "Boyd Brothers Insurance Company Of Panama"; Add Another
Managed To Build The Business From 4 Room Office, Into A Two Story Building, With Many More Employees And Sales Staff.... About 10 Years Later, They Decided To Sell The Company & Gave Jim 25% Of The Net Sale Price....(Nice Chunk Of Cash)...
By Now Of Course, Jim Was Worth A Small Fortune And Was About As Well Known As The President Of Panama.....Mainly Due To His Generosity To Others ~ When One's Poor,
They Learn To DO What They CAN, WITH What They HAVE, But You Don't Have To Like It Or Settle For It Either....So We Gave It Up For Lent, Permanently.
Next He Retire For A Couple Years; Got Bored And Opened His Own Insurance Company, ("La Tienda de Seguros") Just Outside The Main Gates Of Balboa Canal Zone.....
.A Good Friend Asked; "Hey Jim, We're Thinking About Opening A Roller Skating Rink. How'd ya Like In On It"?... (El Patine Dorado), The Only Rink In Central America....And An Immediate Success...
Some Other Adventures Along The Way, But These Might Help Explain How It's Done;
Any Questions? I May Be Able To Answer Them,,, "I MAY Be Able.." ~ But Give It A Shot, And We'll See What I Can Do.
A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney You explain the mechanics well. I guess I was wondering more about actually taking advantage of the opportunities that present themselves to us.
MSgt Robert "Rock" Aldi -
.. AGREED ~~ The Trick Is To Know HOW To Handle Your Money,
And Help Others As You Succeed....Bring Others UP With You;
Help Them Become Independent As Well.
And MOST Of Life & How You Live It, Is Your ATTITUDE...
What You Do And How You React To Your Failures AND Successes.
And It's Not A "Cake Walk", You'll Have To Work FOR It And ON It,
To Become Successful WITH It....And It's A full Time Job While Your Living It.
Here's Something You May Be Interested In Thinking About:
"If You're More Fortunate Than Others,
Build A LONGER Table, Not A HIGHER Wall"
(No Further Comment.. It's All Yours To Consider. )
