Col. Shaw should be Court Martialed for his statements during this procedure, and/or relieved of command for impaired judgement. He is a disgrace to the legal system.

You have to wonder if the comments were not made because he knew it would get the Marines off. Not a favorable light to the justice system but no one should be surprised of a Marine throwing himself on a sword for these three. LTC Shaw's client is the US Government and those he is against in this case are Marines. The government should have prosecutors representing in this case that do not wear any uniform. There does sound good reason for him to be disbarred as he did not serve his client in any means.
