This is a learning opportunity. Prepare for a storm we anticipate coming ashore is a prudent thing to do, it’s what conservatives are doing now. Progressives wait and do nothing, taking more damage, injuries, and deaths because of their inaction. They will be first in line to ask for more money from the federal government. We always get what we vote for.

It's the fault of the GOP, more specifically President Trump with an assist by Governor DeSantis.
Illinois, Colorado, New Mexico, Michigan... Not a single tropical storm or hurricane ever. Why? Because the Governor's seat and both houses are controlled by democrats.
Any other democrat trifecta that has had adverse weather... no doubt, a neighboring republican state caused the problem.
