It takes two to disagree. From the perspective of a conservative, who thinks government has a fiduciary responsibility to future generations, it is always democrats who load up the budget with unsustainable entitlements and vote-buying social justice spending.
The debt per taxpayer is over $250,000. How will you pay your share? Or will you leave that to your children and their children and all of their grandchildren?

When was the last time the democrats proposed a tightened federal budget? When even a significant minority of democrats voted to reduce an entitlement?
