Stated simply, Net Neutrality as currently envisioned by its proponents would empower federal bureaucrats at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to regulate internet service as a “public utility” under laws passed during the Great Depression. It takes an astonishing degree of chutzpah to label such a heavy-handed federal intervention as “neutrality.”

Of course we don't need federal regulations to tell the oligarchs of the internet how to best squeeze every possible dime out of the public. Giant corporations always operate entirely for the greater good because this is the path of Enlightened Self-Interest.
Everyone knows that the internet is nothing like the public phone system where people need to be able to access everything without being censored or re-directed in ways that enhance the provider.
