I have a love/hate relationship with these stories. I love reading about the heroism. I hate reading how for many heroes, life isn't easy after coming home.

Thank You Brother Dale for This Day in History: Thomas Neibaur's bravery in WWI. This was an extremely brave and lucky man. He probably could have been a Medic or some other mostly non-combat roll considering his religion, but he stepped up to the plate, like GOD called him to do. Rest in Peace Brother Thomas.
