We as a nation were already alarmed at how badly our school-age students fell behind thanks to ill-advised school closures during the pandemic. But a large-scale analysis of academic test scores by The Heritage Foundation found a significant trend in the reams of data: Test scores for minorities at schools that had embraced the leftist concept of diversity, equity, and inclusion fared even worse than the depressing normal.

Lt Col Charlie Brown No surprise that America took a step back in education due to the closure of schools. On the bright side, this year for the first time I'm actually starting to see some improvement over the last two years. We're still a ways away from where we were and it will take a few more years to catch up but I'm confident we will eventually.

Two things. (1) The U.S. Dept of Education must be closed forthwith. (2) School board elections are more important than any others, including those for federal offices such as President.
