Breslin Macneir says meeting the president will help everyone heal. "I appreciate the gesture. I hope this helps bring the community together."

Macneir's father, Keith, was also killed at the bar.

"The kind of guy who would take shirt off if you needed it," Macneir said. "He was a great human."
