Late last night I briefly stopped by the NBC News website to confirm the results of our state elections. There were no surprises, but I will repeat here the comment that I made on Facebook about the NBC News coverage of the Kentucky election results:
NBC News managed to show just how clueless the national media are about Kentucky politics when they posted that "Beshear won the state's governorship first in 2019 by a narrow margin, turning the historically conservative state into Democratic control." Kentucky is still absolutely a Red State, with a slightly bluish Governor. Even NBC's own election results show that every statewide office was solidly won by Republicans - and, of course, Republicans still hold an unbreakable majority in the legislature. I hate to tell you, but Andy is a better Republican than several RINOs in Congress.
