Another Whitmire gets elected to be a TX mayor. Not a lot of us around. He's a registered Dem. But we tend to be a conservative group on the whole.

I just posted another article about this. I feel bad for how Houston is now having worked there a few years before I enlisted. It was a good time to be working and living in Houston, and I loved the people.

Lt Col Charlie Brown The Whitmire Clan was started by 5 brothers that came to America during colonial times as indentured servants In North and South Carolina. They did their service, but the landlord wouldn't release them. They stole seed potatoes and ran west to the mountains of NC just south of Asheville. We're all a bunch of outlaws that believe in Freedom. The name is common in the area between Asheville and Spartanburg. Not too common in the rest of the country.
