I hate to say this but I think he'll either get a retrial or get the $$$ thrown out because of how excessive the amount is. He is definitely guilty but 150 Million is a bit over the top, 30 or 40 million wouldn't be questioned at all.

1. This was a civil lawsuit, not a criminal trial. He was found liable, not guilty.
2. A retrial is unlikely due to lack of grounds (either substantive or administrative). Giuliani originally lost by default for not participating in normal pre-trial discovery process.
3. This amount in the punitive phase was for the contemptuous refusal to participate in discovery along with his continuation of defamatory remarks.
