So since "Those checks have kept more than 1,900 firearms out of the hands of dangerous and prohibited persons"
We should be reading about 1,900 prosecutions referred to the court system, and if prosecutors do their job, read about 1,900 convictions ....RIGHT??????? OH WAIT those breaking existing gun laws are rarely charged and convicted..Or if they are, they receive no real sentencing outcome that keeps them from doing it again.
They got caught, outstanding now Finish the job.
EDIT ok of the 1,900 let's say 1% did not fully and honestly understand they were a prohibited person..so let's be on the lookout for 1,881 convictions....LOL (Dont hold your breath)

Actually that 1900 number is the number of NICS denials -- at least some of those denials would have been for people whose name matched (or nearly matched) the name of some prohibited person.

If the current system is working then we do not need 'Common sense gun reform."... I am still waiting for the prosecution of the air force admin that failed to report Devin Kelly's felony conviction, an error that cost the lives of 26 people just east of San Antonio. It is simple, they do not want we have currently working because then they would have nothing to take away from law abiding citizens and the true power grab they want.
