I see making a change as a good move. In today's society the days of any church controlling every aspect of one's life should be long behind us. A church should teach us about, and how to love God. As long as it does that, who you love in one's bedroom is immaterial.

If we love God then we should follow His commands and precepts. He said that homosexuality was abhorrent to Him.

The Bible says nothing about 'homosexuality' as an innate dimension of personality. Sexual orientation was not understood in biblical times.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - I honestly have a hard time accepting the very liberal viewpoint that this article provides. I personally believe that this is just a way to assuage guilt of deviant activity. Of course we should love all people but also should use sound judgment in resisting sin, in ourselves and others. We should lovingly attempt to bring these folk, as well as others, back to a wholesome relationship with God. I will let God do the judgement of their souls but I feel compelled to resist continued liberal interpretations of God’s Word.
I may sound like I’m being quite vague, but I am trying hard not to offend anyone deliberately. I believe that we are living in the End Times and much of what I see, regarding this subject, is what we are told to look for. We will soon find out how God feels about this, very soon.

PO1 H Gene Lawrence Completely understand and as I think I told you a long time ago, my background is from a very liberal Christian denomination. Any church dictating is just counter to my basic religious background. As to End Times, if they come, they come.......we'll all be dead, I'm not going to waste time worrying about it.
