The guns don't scare me. What terrifies me is the thousands of untreated mentally unstable individuals roaming at large in society. We should be treating the disease itself, not the symptoms.

But that wouldn't be "fair" to all the mentally unstable people who have a "right" to roam at large in society and a right to not take their medications or attend treatment.
