My niece andnephew were homeschooled...One aced the ACT and theother almsot maxxed it out. They both had full rides to college and clepped a lot of freshman courses finishing college in less thatn four years...very successful...doubt they would have been that good had they been in public school!

I did public school in the '50s and '60s when they really taught kids. It stood me in good stead as I was able to complete two years of college via CLEP and credit by examination, having to take only four courses through military ed centers.

I saw back in 2000 that homeschooled kids outperformed public school kids by 30 or more points on the ASVAB on average
