I should read this book. I was lucky that my parents stayed married. I was not a bastard. Families with addictions are gonna have a harder issue and Alcoholism is an addiction that many people don't want to face. Drug abuse is now rampant and cheaper to get high , so that is just as destructive. Many people on my wife side of the family who drink are having liver failure problems. And some have had kidneys replace in their thirties from drinking too much.
