In this day an age, one better comes with their fact straight or they will be found out

Of course the story was distorted. That is what both parties are about, providing only those things that highlight their view. The amount of freedom we give politicians to lie is far beyond what we would allow between one another. When partisans repeat their distortions, they only show they haven't done any research to see the complete picture.
