Normally I'm pro union. In the case of the teachers unions, that goes out the window. All of you that look for the bad side of a union need look no further than those 2 organizations.

Return education to the states and abolish the US Dept of Education. There are no stats that would suggest this was a bad idea. Our education performance has sharply declined since the US DOE was created. In the mean while the DOE has become a political living organism.

Do as little as possible and still get paid for it Brother Dale. At least that's always been the government motto and the unions are a form of government so what more can you expect? All I remember was how many days off they wanted, supposedly out of fear from the kids infecting them. Yeah right.
