Just Is like in canada, Stabbings are common and a sign saying no knives in business establishment doesn't stop some idiot from bringing in a knife and stabbing people.

LTC Stephen Conway Unless the business owner is planning on doing a shake down for every customer as they come in such signs are useless. All through school I carried a pocket knife. Now if a student comes to school with a knife it's a 180 day suspension. We didn't have the problems with guns and stabbing back then. My theory is that it's because the media gives it too much attention. So you got a guy that mentally ill wanting to kill themselves and go out in a blaze of glory and be famous. They get their fifteen minutes of fame.

Lt Col Charlie Brown If they totally banned guns (and even got them away from criminals) this would be the weapon of choice I think. Time to ban knives!

You aren't serious. I'm not sure the extent in England but all you can buy now is plastic silverware.

England outlawed guns. Criminals started using knives. Now England has banned knives. How much ya wanna bet the thugs will just start using clubs/bats/pipes/etc?
Making law abiding people helpless does NOT make criminals harmless. It's time we started putting blame on the law breaker and not the object/item they used to commit the crime.
