An example of the Main stream broadcast media lying. The headline is not true. From Rep Raper's mouth;“I’m not trying to kill the bill, I’m just delivering my stance on it,”. His stance is that He doesn't think the training requirements are stringent enough. He's OK with teachers and staff being armed, but He'd like to see more training before it happens. I don't think the anti-gunners could count on him for a no vote.

Why don’t we focus on the mental health of people and leave the law enforcement to trained professionals.

In your opinion, have Extreme Risk Protective Orders been effective?
_If not, why not?
_What further restrictions should put on the mentally ill, who have not actually violated the law?
Law Enforcement
Once it becomes an active shooter situation, is it law enforcement? or is it the use of deadly force in self-defense or in the defense of others?
If I'm on the sidewalk, and armed, and a shooter walking down the same sidewalk is bearing down on your kids, having already shot others? Should I say, "I'm not the cops" and walk away?
The bill:
_ does not require any teacher to be armed.
_ does not allow substitute teachers or part-timer staff to be armed
_ school employees must undergo yearly background checks, psychological evaluations, and 40 hours of training to carry a concealed handgun.
_ school employees would also have to receive the approval of a superintendent, principal, and chief of police or law enforcement agency.
