Greater Cincinnati ranks poorly on the American Lung Association's air quality report

The report ranks the Cincinnati metro area 42nd worst in the nation for ozone pollution ("smog"), and gives Hamilton County an "F" grade. As for short-term particle pollution, the metro area ranks 85th worst in the nation, and a "C" grade for Hamilton County.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel According to the American Lung Association’s report, Cincinnati took the 85th spot for the worst city in the nation for short-term particle pollution. How the association determined this is similar to how they graded ozone in the region. Once again, Hamilton County had the worst unhealthy days (1), resulting in a C-level grade.
