Good News: Americans Are No Longer Listening to Mass Media

If the 2024 presidential contest proved anything, it’s that the mass media no longer drive the national conversation. They can no longer stoke fear and outrage in average voters. They can no longer prop up terrible candidates. And, like him or not, President-elect Donald Trump’s success with black, Hispanic and Jewish voters, if exit polls are even close to correct, proves that the entire “fascist” scare was a flop.
Indeed, the establishment press are less trusted than virtually any major institution in American life. It’s a well-earned ignominy. It’s also a tragedy for a free nation that we have a barely functioning press. Reporters probably tell themselves they’re disliked because they’re fearless truth-tellers. But, far more likely, it’s a referendum on their deceit.

The libs here are going crazy. They still have the Socialist City Council, etc, etc. So they pretty much are proving what I have said all along, these folks are desperate to have a cause to believe in that normal society doesn't so they are set apart and they crave the idea of being a victim.

Here in SE Virginia, virtually the entire Democrat-Socialist campaign theme was focused on abortion. Missy Cotter Smasal was the Demo-Socialist candidate opposing Republican Jen Kiggans, a former Navy helicopter pilot and current nurse-practitioner. Smasal had enormous funds, outraising Kiggans by over 3 to 1. But all Smasal ever harped on in her ads was "Abortion!" and "MAGA!". Thank God, her near-constant emphasis on abortion fell flat and Kiggans successfully defended her seat. The big media and their pollsters mis-called this election, another epic fail by the far-left in this election cycle. And it's interesting that the German media also screwed up their predictions in forecasting a Harris victory. In fact, so many Germans have been shocked by Trump's decisive win that there have been several articles in the German media about how to psychologically comfort Germans. I'm very surprised that so many Germans are so personally shocked by Trump's win that many of them cannot go to work. It's crazy. But I do note that none of the German media referred to Trump as Hitler.

They all supported HITLER, if memory serves! REAGAN had to embarrass the socialist to open the gates in east BERLIN, they couldn't do that by themselves, & when I was stationed in GERMANY in the 60,s My buddies & I would have GERMAN tank commanders throw apple cores at the Un uniformed American solders/Airmen, while in training from their tanks, running thru the streets. I just witnessed a woman, from one of the EUROPEAN countries, now pleading for Pres. Trump to start selling EUROPEAN CONTRIES LNG GAS, from the USA at much lower prices than RUSSIA. Some off them are not so dumb!

Not all of the Germans supported Hitler. Several hundred thousand of them were put into Dachau, the first German concentration camp, in the 1930's. Yep, there was a fair bit of friction between Germans and Americans in Germany that I saw, during my service there in the 1970's. I hope we sell a lot of LNG to Europe and lessen the Russian energy hold on the EU. It's hard to be independent when the Russians can cut off the gas and make you real cold in the winter.
