Jake Paul defeated Mike Tyson by unanimous decision in an eight-round heavyweight match at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Friday.

All three judges scored the fight for Paul, 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73.

The fight, sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, was contested at 2-minute rounds, and both fighters wore 14-ounce gloves instead of the regular 10-ounce gloves for heavyweight fights.

I'm a boxing fan from way back, preferred the Flyweight through Middle Weights, but followed the Heavies. This one didn't interest me for a number of reasons. 1. Tyson is 58 years old. Steroids can do a lot of things, but they don't make up for 30 years. 2. Paul is 27. Enough said. He now has enough fights and has real trainers to make him a serious Fighter. 3. Tyson is a puncher and backing him up makes that big bomb a lot less effective. Paul has 3" in height and 5 " in reach. 4. The 14 ounce Gloves make a difference. 10 ounce gloves keep you from breaking your hand, 14 ounce take a lot of the power out of the blow.
The "best" boxer I've ever seen is Julian Jackson "The Hawk".
