I do know in Massachusetts We have wild turkeys all over the place but in earlier years I don't seem to remember that many of them being around but now the are everywhere ! It seems in 1970 that 37 wild Turkeys were brought in from New York and now there are 35,000 of them in Massachusetts. I wasn't aware of that but Your post got My interest so I checked that out and found this information.

It sounds like they must breed like rabbits Brother's. Very interesting story.

PO3 Edward Riddle - It seems like when I see recently born turkeys with their parents there tend to be at least a half dozen or so of them following the Mom and Dad. That seems to be a pretty common sight now around here.
