If a special counsel is appointed to investigate Biden and the others in the family that received the money from Hunter, he will not be able to plead the 5th. As he cannot be prosecuted he must answer questions.

There's the law for them and then there's the law for you and me. How do they get away with it? Just look to people like LTC Eugene Chu who responds that "Critics shouldn't complain unless Hunter gets nominated for an ambassador position..." Sorry, Colonel, I complain pretty much as I damn well please regardless of whose ox is being gored. I've watched the lawfare against President Trump for more than eight years now, ever since he threw his hat in the ring. He's been charged with nameless crimes by his political adversaries. He's been accused of everything from treason to spreading the common cold based on evidence fabricated by bureaucrats and politicians. He's been convicted by a mob of Democratic dupes in a kangaroo court. And he was acquitted of all by We the People when we reelected him and gave him a mandate to go back to Washington and clean up the mess.

Hunter got a $1.35 million tax bill wiped away without a care. As well as a blanket erasure of any and all crimes he may have committed over a ten year period, interestingly enough coinciding with Joe's being bought by Ukraine money through Burisma and China as documented in the laptop.
