I'm skeptical. Less weight is good, no doubt. But these casings are made of aluminum. Anybody ever dropped a piece of aluminum and seen how readily it deforms? I expect in real world scenarios there's going to be a lot of misfeeds and jams. That's my opinion, as a guy that has worked with a lot of different metals, over the course of my career in industrial maintenance and repair.

Sorry, I wouldn't trust aluminum casings even if it meant lighter loads. I don't see how they'd handle the pressure of the load like brass does, but I'm not an expert on that sciency stuff. I just shoot them.

SGT (Join to see) What about the reloading of Aluminum casings? Even steel casings are subject to ‘necking’ after repeated reloading!
