Florida Sheriff Tells Criminals "Expect to be Shot"

The way it should be. But in the Northeast or California, the homeowner would be prosecuted.

I had an intruder coming through my sliding door many years ago in the middle of the night. I was heading to the kitchen to get water, saw him, and immediately ran back to my bedroom for my gun. Lucky for him, he did not follow and ran or it would have been a very different Police report. Since that time no one will ever convince me that we should not have the right to own firearms and to defend ourselves respectively.

What's funny are the reporters are actually flabbergasted by the sheriff's response. The reporters act as if they are immune to criminal acts being perpetrated on them.
