Staffing in many Federal Government agencies seems to be a problem while wasteful spending gets out of control with completely unneeded , unjustified items. Added in social program that are forced on the work force that have nothing at all to do with the functions of the various Federal agencies. What is neglected is having enough people as well as advance the technology in the actual operational area to make the actual goals and missions function as they should have been doing right along and haven't been ! Special social programs and being swamped with excessive unneeded paperwork making it difficult to even apply to Federal Government jobs sure hasn't helped and it's getting worse.

"with completely unneeded , unjustified items"
I can agree with that, but don't throw the baby out with the bath water. Each department should look into those items and decide, based on facts, if they are unjustified or not.
Also. most of that comes from Congress.

What you may consider unneeded or unjustified may actually be needed and justified by others.

PO2 Bill Reardon - True, and the original intent in 1961 by President Kennedy still applies both to China and Russia. Todays problem though is with programs that involve OTHER social issues that have no standing except to bolster small select groups on individual social agenda vs the overall needs and support to other nations. Support for other social issues is fine but not at Government and US taxpayer expense at home or abroad. Most of that popped up in the Biden Administration and does need to be cleaned up but closing everything doesn't seem to be the answer but don't lose focus on the original goals. Closing everything down isn't the answer but better monitoring of what the expenditures are and maintaining fiscal responsibility.

MSG Stan Hutchison - I agree the control should still be in Congress but not wander into areas not in keeping with the original intent as identified in 1961 by President Kennedy. China and Russian influence and control on territory and economies are STILL very legitimate concerns. It should still be up to Congress to monitor and improve acts by the Executive branch on proper administration and expense and the Judicial branch as a check on both the Legislative and Executive branch and the Constitution balance of power by all three branches. When that concept disappears then We have a real problem and things get out of control and need to be fixed.

I find it quite a paradox when Donald is saluting during our national anthem while doing what he can to dismantle our Constitution and Rule of Law!

You are so angry when I present the facts! I conduct clinical research on Donald's profound personality deficits. I stand by my research! I will send you copies of my data if you can cope with the obvious facts!

SSgt Richard Kensinger - obviously you do such great research -- too bad you didn't bother researching WHO down-voted your idiotic rant (hint: it wasn't me), but since you want to play games, I'll see your down-vote and raise you.
