I'm hoping those Billions go into repair and replacement of infrastructure.

Imagine I'd you will, an agency of the United States that helps fund our enemies and is a slush fund for NGO's and politicians. You'd have USAID.

Then Congress needs to pass legislation to redirect that money for infrastructure projects. Trump just can't make that decision on his own.
Imagine a day where a Democrat comes into the White House and says "We don't need all this defense spending, so I'm going to redirect some of it to provide larger health insurance subsidies on the Obamacare exchanges." What Trump is doing, if allowed by the courts, will result in a Democratic President doing something just like that in the very near future.

LTC Kevin B. - student loans were to be paid to the federal government per the students contract n borrowing the money. The payments were cancelled diverting the future payments to the borrower. Pelosi and the Supreme Court both said this was illegal

LTC David Brown - Debt was forgiven, but that is not the same thing as money being diverted to pay off someone's debt. I'll ask a third time. What money was diverted to pay off student debt? What VA funding was diverted?

LTC Kevin B. - lol, so if some one has a contract with you and owes you $10,000 and then the person doesn’t pay and gets away with it was the money diverted? Those funds were supposed to go to the department of education. But spin it how you will. Not to mention both the Supreme Court and Pelosi said it was unconstitutional but Biden did it anyway. It was money that was contracted to be paid to the government.
