This is a great thing, but this should be done prior to the election I think.

Had this count gone the other way by a few hundred votes, I wonder where we'd be now? is this really about principle, or just about power? Do the bringers of this suit really think there's a voter-fraud conspiracy here (when time after time these claims are routinely found to be false), or - are they counting on finding enough administrative mistakes in this very close race to justify this gambit. 15 business days to correct alleged missing documentation - in a state where many thousands of military members live and serve, and frequently serve or deploy overseas for extended periods of time... will be a difficult challenge for our brothers and sisters now being accused of "fraud" by some. Sad that it has come to this.

Military mail in ballots aren't just overseas.
I remained registered and voted in California for my entire military career, from Benning, Bragg and Campbell, as well as from overseas.
Many servicemembers remain registered in their home state, and keep their home state driver license, as they PCS every 3 years.
And given the legitimate evidence of ineligible voting that shows about 10 in 1,000,000 votes is ineligible, the odds would predict that a complete verification of 65,000 ballots would show between zero and 1 total ineligible voters.
But tossing out 65,000 votes out of hand might be enough to swing a 734 vote margin, though I would argue that throwing out all military mail in ballots typically does more harm than good for a republican candidate in any kind of race.

Lt Col Charlie Brown
SGM Jeff Mccloud - I voted in Texas for 22 years although I only lived there for my first assignment (I was a Texas resident when I joined the AF) so I voted absentee most of my career.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - I never stopped voting by mail even when I came back to California.

I May Get A Lot Of Flack On This,
And I Know What All Those Dirty Names Mean
BUT: In Some Countries, And I Lived In On One Of Them,
From The Age Of 18 On Requires People Living In Certain Country's
To Carry Their Country's ID Card On Them At All Times In Public. Without It,
Absolutely NO Business Or Personal Transactions Are To Be Done, And If Caught Without It
They'll Be Arrested, Fined, Taken To The Jail And Held Until Their Card Is Taken To Them.
Then They'll Be Released And Can Return To Their Normal Activities.

Ah, the vestiges of totalitarianism never leave some places.
