"Feds ask First Circuit to deny gun rights to noncitizens"
"The First Circuit Court of Appeals was asked Thursday to consider whether and to what extent immigrants lacking permanent legal status are considered part of “the people” '. I have been waiting for a case of this nature. Who are "The People"? The case is being argued on the "Historical" lines set down in the "Bruen" decision. A case of this nature can't be successfully argued with out bringing the 14th amendment into play. No matter the outcome of the Appeals court, this will be appealed higher. SCOTUS will eventually have to give an opinion on the topic of "The People".
