Why The AR-10 Belongs in Your Arsenal

To me this is just common sense. My 10 is the only AR pattern rifle I own. It's not the only 30 cal. the .308W and 30-06 will be around far longer than most of the calibers that have gained recognition in the past few decades. It's tacticool to have all those others, but not practical, if you're thinking tactical. When you buy a 10 make sure it's chamber .308W, they can eat 7.62 NATO all day without damage, not so the other way around. Too many 308's through a 7.62x51 and you'll damage the breech and risk having it explode in your face.
