Liberal pundits and politicians spent the weekend insisting that the anti-ICE riots across Los Angeles were peaceful, even as split-screen footage showed cars engulfed in flames.
"At this point, this has been very peaceful. It has been tense at some points, but we haven't seen any violence happening here," CNN correspondent Julia Vargas Jones said as the network showed rioters on motorbikes circling a car on fire in the middle of an intersection.

That's the media today. Report what they want people to believe, not the truth. This is making the White House alleged insurrection look like a Sunday picnic.

MSG Billy Brumfield - Yes, these are all good examples of how the media tries to sensationalize the scene to make it look far worse than it actually is, like showing the same cars burning or the same couple of stores looted, over and over again.

MSG Billy Brumfield - It's a sliding scale, and it's really more related to how much or how little effort you want to put into discerning facts from sensationalized, exaggerated, purposely misleading or completely false reporting. Or if you want to put no effort at all into discerning facts and simply watch and read anything that supports your point of view and nothing else.
The thing is, mainstream media has far fewer fact check problems than "alt media" or "new media", or the current White House for that matter.
