I'm wondering who was actually behind the Mexican government lawsuit. The massive legal fees for such a lawsuit are a great way for money to find its way back into the pockets of government officials.
And, of course, the Mexican government was expecting support from the Biden/Harris DOJ, so perhaps they were hoping the gun manufacturers might offer a settlement to buy them off.
