The 250th Anniversary Army Parade was done with patriotism. Military recruitment is up since President Trump won.
I am surprised Russia and Turkey are not listed because YouTube has videos of Turkish and Russian Government shutting down free speech and their media.
They can call me a Nazi or Fascist, but I suspect they drink and are zealots.
Several countries practice near-total media censorship, effectively restricting access to information and suppressing independent reporting. These include:
1. Eritrea
2. North Korea
3. Turkmenistan
4. Saudi Arabia.
5. Communist China
6. Vietnam also have highly censored media environments, though they don't reach the same level of complete control as the others.
7. The European Union and the UK will also arrest people on Facebook that have anti-government views.
8.Vice President Vance outed them recently on their anti-free speech hypocrisy.
Here's a general list of countries often cited for their democratic systems, without a specific rank order due to the fluctuating nature of rankings: Remember, the UK and the EU can call cops on your Facebook posts that are not threatening.

SGM Jeff Mccloud I wish I was not 62 and old. I was a 95B MP Enlisted or a 31A MP Officer in my 30s again. I would love to be smiling at Antifa/BLM paid fat Latinos with bullhorns (I am 50% Latino). If I were young and living in California again, I would not mind being there defending vulnerable sites in California working with LAPD and stopping organized civil disturbance activists. Here I was in 1994 as a 95B pumping diesel for my Platoon Leader.

LTC Stephen Conway I remember being at Ord when infantry units were sent to LA in 1992 to help. Our unit had just received a new cohort and we were not included and I was about two weeks from ETS'ing.
The SORT team from the prison I would ho to work at was sent to assist as well.

Fun facts about the parade, yes the Army did apply for a special event for the Army's 250th birthday back in June of 2024 under Biden.
The permit was for 300 Soldiers and civilians, and this event did coincide with the parade we all watched.
The application for a special event for that parade which included over 7000 Soldiers, and all the vehicles, was submitted in March 2025, by Megan Powers.
You might recognize that name as the longtime Trump campaign and White House staffer who was also listed as the operations manager for scheduling and guidance on another application for a special event in DC that took place on 6 JAN 2021.
