The Bomber Command Museum in Nanton, Alberta Canada has 1 of the 17 remaining Lancaster British/Canadian Heavy bombers. This Lancaster is in running but not in flyable condition.
This Museum had a replica of the Tall Boy 12,000 pounds/5,400 KG (to the left of the Lancaster) and the Grand Slam 22,000 lbs/10,000 kg Heavy bombs. The Grand Slam is just below the bomb bay.
They were the heaviest bombs dropped in World War 2.
The GBU-57 bombs dropped on Iran's Nuclear facilities weighed 30,000 lbs/13,608 kg.

There was not a lot of wiggle room transiting from the cockpit to the bomb bay.

LTC Trent Klug Even the B-52 is a tight squeeze getting from the cockpit to the bomb bay. Space in bombers is designed around payload, not ease of getting around inside it.

Now the Nanton Village’s Lancaster, a village people’s joint effort has been ursuped by “‘Big Cdn AF’’” Bomber Command after years of toil and effort by the Village of Nanton!
That Nanton Lancaster was a uniforming community effort for many years. Having High School students trained as Docents and conducting tours of the airplane is a favorite memory of my several trips to Canada.
