The constitution states specifically 18-45. If you don't think your 18 yo isn't ready, you need to check your parenting techniques.

Freedom reinforced is always a big win for all Americans. It's a great win for Americans under 21 who were barred from purchasing weapons.

Problem with a lot of parents is they do not realize they need to have their kids ready by 18 for adulthood. I was deputy commander for a Civil Air Patrol unit and my 15yo is more man than some of the 19yo leaving the program. If we were in the 1940s and WWII was going on, he would be gone faking his age and while I should stop it, I would not after his 16th bday. I would not want him gone but this is the young man I have raised.
