Anyone who defends the attack of law enforcement officers at any level should be disqualified from holding office at any level. Coitizing is one thing, condoning the act is a different matter. LET THE HATERS BE RELEASED! I say that in jest. But I have worked in law enforcement and correction and like everything else there is the good and on the other side the bad. That is life.

I Had A Niece On The Austin, Texas PD. She Openly Admitted Loving Having The Authority
And The Power That Badge Gave Her, And With Many It's The Only Time In Their Lives They Were Given Any Respect.. - Even If It Was Undeserved -

YUP If You J-Walk In Most Places It's Against The City Ordnance And Can Cost Ya A Buck Or Two, But It's Easy To Avoid: Step To The Curb, Look Both Ways Twice; If Nothing's
Coming, RUN To The Other Side. See, Doug, The Trick IS And ALWAYS Has Been "Don't Get Caught" ~ But Speaking Of The Cops, Breaking The Laws, And Being Fined,
I Never Personally Had To Many Issues But Never Worth Causing A Problem.
And Twice, After I Recieved My Just Deserved Ticket, Spent As Much As 30 Minutes Just Talking & Visiting With Them. Only Been Behind Bars About 4 - 5 Times, But All For Minor Offences & Easily Solvable. One Of Which I Stood In Front Of The Judge In Lansing Michigan, When I Personally Knew The Judge So I Was Able To Take A Walk ~ Before Becoming A Judge He Was A Practicing Attorney & A Customer Of Mine..

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney They used to pull us over for the strangest things like the front of my car looked like it was too low then they would think the rear was too high. And they used a pencil to measure the distance from the ground. Last they were at a store I frequent in a new Charger and I asked them where I needed to go to sign up. We started talking and had some good laughs before I headed home.

Some Cops Are Like That, As There Are In Any Large Group Of People,
But WITH The Ability To Lay Some Crap On Us, But Most Are Pretty Good People.
Like The Cop I Passed On The Highway Between Lansing & Grand Rapids, Michigan; During The Years Of 55 MPH Being The Max Speed; According To His Radar He Said I Was Doing 124 MPH When I Shot By His Squad Car; Although It Was A Serious Charge At The Time, I ALMPOST Laughed Him Out Of The Ticket. BUT The Ticket He Issued Was For "Going Over 55 MPH, But Under 65 MPH In A 55 MPH Zone." It Wasn't So Much A Ticket As It Was A Gift. I Discovered Later, I Should Have Been Arrested, Jailed & My Car Towed.
