Kansas mayor charged with illegally voting just day after winning reelection

This one seems pretty clear. He obviously knew he was not a US citizen because he holds a 'green card' and he applied for citizenship earlier this year, but in three previous elections since 2022 he has signed official record forms that ask is he is a US citizen and in each case he claimed that he was a US citizen. That's not an accident. As a green card holder he clearly knows the difference between being a legal permanent resident vs being a citizen.

He's probably a nice guy (despite his prior battery conviction from years ago) and I'm 100% sure he will become another of those cases the left uses to say that the administration is going after good immigrants rather than actual criminals.
