I have been ICU/RN for 22 yrs and until we stop approaching military mental health in the same fashion as the civilian side, we will never get ahead. We are wired differently after our training.

Aloha Major, is it the fact that the Career repercussions and the general attitude of Soldiers to admitting any kind of sickness are palpable in the Military? What is the Civilian way of looking at Mental Health?

Like the other folks in the thread..if this helps...I am all for it. And it is changing medicine...instead of a Doctor with a thousand patients under his belt, AI can search everyone who ever got sick. Combine the two...and we are going to get somewhere.
