"During a Monday press conference, Harvey police emphasized that the violence stemmed from a long-running feud between two groups of known individuals, not a random threat to the public."
“We now know who the bad actors are,” police said. “This violence stems from an ongoing conflict between individuals with a long and disruptive history within our city.”
They won't say "gang related", but with that description, did they need to? The 2nd shooting at 0500 was a retaliatory "Hit". 2 people in the van and only one was shot, many times.
I wonder about the "Licensed" carrier's connection to the rest of the "family" at the party.
No doubt in my mind it was self defense. But there's an old saying; "You are known by the company you keep."
