Sgt (Join to see) The enormous negative consequences from Abortion make it an adversary worth battling. Not only for the target children, but most mothers who kill their babies suffer many harsh effects afterwards: physical problems, mental and emotional scars.

It's hard for me to justify the killing of unborn children as "health care". In reality it is almost always a matter of convenience, many women just don't want to bear children. (That is the primary reason that Japan will within a century no longer be an organized nation-state, they're not having babies any more.) Birth control is widely and freely available to all, so abortion need not happen with even the smallest amount of forethought and preparation.
With respect to "abortion rights" there is absolutely no mention of abortion anywhere in the U.S. Constitution or in any of its amendments. Therefore, per the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, anything not specifically mentioned as belonging to the Federal Government belongs to the several states. The recent overturning of Roe v. Wade means that each state now gets to decide abortion for itself. There is NO federal guarantee of any "right to abortion" and I believe it will require a Constitutional amendment to change that.
